Health & Nutrition

Health

Head Start provides hearing, vision, and dental screenings for all enrolled children. We work with families to ensure they have a medical and dental home to assist in follow-up of any concerns.

Nutrition

Children who attend Head Start are served free, healthy, and nutritious meals made by our trained kitchen staff. All meals and snacks meet USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines. Meals are served family style which allows children the opportunity to serve themselves and practice sitting at the table.
