Local College Students Help Out at Head Start Centers

Posted by Michele Bergeron on September 19 2016

August and September brought a lot of helping hands to our Head Start of Yamhill County facilities! August 22-24, Linfield First CLAS students helped to stain fences, install child seats on buses, border pathways, and clear brush. Following quickly on the heals of that amazing amount of help was a group of 11 students and staff from George Fox University's Serve Day volunteering with painting, limb removal, and light bulb replacement at our Newberg Center.

These amazing individuals donated a total of over 153 hours to help make our facilities as safe and welcoming as possible to our families!

Thank you Linfield College and George Fox University for your commitment to our community!
